Hip-hop entrepreneur Simmons: not a fan of cursing
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver April 24th, 2007

Russell Simmons - founder of the Def Jam label - has announced that certain words should not be allowed in popular music. In other words, said words should be banned from rap. Keeping up with these words?

The words 'niggas', 'hos' and 'bitches' should, in Simmon's opinion, not be permitted anymore. "We recommend [these words] are always out," he told Associated Press.

Simmons added that the step would be "a clear message and a consistency that we want the industry to accept for more corporate social responsibility."

Surely these words are already tired, though. Does Simmons never watch Call My Bluff?
