Yeah, yeah - there will be some music. But, more excitingly, bands will battle each other at Tug of War at this August's Field Day festival, held on August 11 at London's Victoria Park.
Battles - pictured - will pit their muscles against those of Foals (wait, surely Foals have a one-man advantage...? Suppose they are small, though). Gruff Rhys will take on Kieran Hebden, and the third and final contest will be between the Fence Collective, with James Yorkston, and the Mystery Jets... insert your own parathesis here.
The action begins at noon and lasts 'til 10.30pm. Among the other acts confirmed to play are Liars, Justice, Fridge, Vetiver, Pull Tiger Tail, Bat For Lashes, Archie Bronson Outfit, Alberta Cross, and Laura Marling.
