The Dust Bytes & The Great Red Shark
oappleby by Ollie Appleby January 15th, 2002
The Dust Bytes have recently secured a deal with The JMG Agency/Casket Music, now enabling them to take their noise pollution to Europe and beyond, with a single and tour both set for next month

Dust Byte's blend of angular rock with buzzsaw riffs and electronic subtleties has racked up comparisons from At The Drive-In, through The Stooges to Beck, with the band's live shows being increasingly noted for their explosive energy and the band's often erratic behaviour.

February 4th sees the release of the brand new double-A-sided single 'Priscilla/The Misadventures Of The Great Red Shark' and following support slots with the likes of Sona Fariq, Capdown and Groop Dogdrill, embark on a headlining UK tour of their own, supported by John Peel favourites Goatboy.
