Mogwai will be touring South America and doing a week of shows in North America in May of this year . . . Stuart has some more live solo dates planned for April, check their official website for the US listings.
There are as yet no solid plans for the band to go back into the studio, although they are currently rehearsing, The Sick Anchors side project (involving Stuart and Aidan from Arab Strap) has an EP coming out on the 22nd April
In other news, Mogwai have collaborated recently with Golden Globe & Bafta winner Craig Armstrong on a track on his new album, '2 Rights Make 1 Wrong' has been used on a very good skateboarding video and John and Stuart are providing music for a 'virtual art' exhibition.
ROCK ACTION RECORDS
The next release on Mogwai's own label will be American electronica artist CEX on the 29th April. Expect news on other releases soon. The Rock Action Records website is up and running at www.rockactionrecords.co.uk and has quality DJ sets available for streaming by Stuart, Dominic, Aidan Moffat, Random Number and Arthur Baker.
