The double CD will include all of the band's singles from across thier various albums, including classics 'Girl From Mars', 'Angel Interceptor', Jesus Says and Burn Baby Burn.
The as yet untitled album will, of course, also feature a range of selected B-sides and non-album tracks, including their movie theme song from 'A Life Less Ordinary'.
The reasoning behind it (other than a standard record label cash-in stunt) is, according to Tim Wheeler that: "we've had 17 singles so far and it just seems like a good time to commemorate it because it's been 10 years since we started Ash."
3/4 Irish Ash will be performing at the Hot Press Irish Music Awards in Belfast on April 25.
