Shock tactics: Minotaur returns with new pricing system
dandruff by Ashraf Dumile August 11th, 2008

As previously mentioned, today marks the return of Bristolian David Edwards and his Minotaur Shock. Following on from the lauded Maritime in 2005, the 4AD-affiliated humble electronica player returns with Amateur Dramatics, available from today.

But, taking another step away from the former model, Edwards has priced each track on his new record according to the “technical difficulty” and whether it features “extra musicians”, with each of the eleven ranging from 33p to 75p. Alternatively you can buy the whole album for the accumulative total of £6.41.

You can purchase the record from his website here, or peruse the tracklisting first below:

’Zookeeper’
‘AmDram’
‘This Plane Is Going To Fall’
‘Accelerated Footage’
‘Jason Forrest’
‘Two Magpies’
‘My Burr’
‘BATS’
‘Snapdragon’
‘Buzzards’
‘Beekeeper’
