Listen: Free Banjo Or Freakout Christmas album
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater December 16th, 2009

It snowed today in some parts of the UK. This may have escaped you. If the sight of snowflakes spiralling through the air and into the biting breeze (but perhaps not the sight of a proto-slush on the pavement) made you feel in the mood for ANYTHING Christmassy, then there's more to be gleeful about.

Brace yourselves - London-based Italian fellow Alessio Natalizia, a.k.a Banjo Or Freakout has made available a Christmas album, entirely for freeeeeeeeee. Filled with Christmas songs it is, too, as you'd expect. You can get it by clicking through to his official blog or by clicking directly to the download.

Here's the tracklisting:

  1. White Christmas
  2. Merry Christmas, Baby
  3. Jingle Bells
  4. Christmas Is Coming
  5. Must Be Santa
  6. Silent Night
  7. Come On Ring Those Bells
  8. Joy To The World
  9. Blue Christmas

Banjo Or Freakout - Merry Christmas, Baby by LukeSlater

All tracks were recorded in the last couple of weeks, except 'Silent Night' and 'Blue Christmas', which weren't. All first take as well! Neat-o.

Here's the "album art" for yer iTunes or whatever. Not that it's particularly important or anything...

Festive thanks come to DiSer Jimitheexploder for this one. Merry Christmas.
