The Fall, Local Natives, Tinchy Stryder and more for Summer Sundae
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater March 3rd, 2010

The first wave of acts of this year's Leicestival that is the Summer Sundae Weekender have just been confirmed, along with the return of a Drowned in Sound stage once again! Hoorah for that! Biggest band on the bill so far is probably The Fall, who join this merry band of musicians:

Tinchy Stryder
The Go! Team
Mumford & Sons
Local Natives
Laura Veirs
The Sunshine Underground
The Whip - how very apt!
Woodentops
Goldheart Assembly
Lou Rhodes
Erland And The Carnival
A Genuine Freakshow
The Wave Pictures

It's the tenth year for the Leicester-based festival, which this time round takes place on August 13, 14 and 15 at De Montfort Hall and Gardens. Early bird tickets are on sale now, and are available until Wednesday March 31, so visit Summersundae.com for more information and that. Tickets range in price from £95 for an Early Bird Weekend ticket to £250 for an Early Bird Family Ticket.

As mentioned above, we have our own stage once more this year, so keep your eyes peeled for any announcements which will, obviously, be on these very pages.
