Wild Beasts, Stornoway and more for The Great Escape
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater March 10th, 2010

If the first lot of artists announced for this year's Great Escape wasn't enough to get you in the mood for a jolly old jaunt down to the seaside, then the next batch should hopefully tempt you a little bit more. This year's event takes place from May 13-15 across a variety of wonderful venues in Brighton. An umbrella and mac would be advisable, in truth.

Announced now for the three-day event are:

Wild Beasts
Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster
Band Of Skulls
Stornoway
Lonelady
White Rose Movement
Seun Kuti Canterbury
The Boy Who Trapped The Sun
Summer Camp
Think About Life
Jim Jones Revue
Codeine Velvet Club
Hook & The Twin
Young Guns
John & Jehn

Lucky Soul
Birds Of Tokyo
Chicken Hawk
Chief
Lauren Pritchard
Kassidy
North Atlantic Oscillation
Bo-Ningen
Larissa McKay
John Smith

They join this lot:

Delphic
Chase & Status
Broken Social Scene
Marina & The Diamonds
Esben & The Witch
Ellie Goulding
Crystal Fighters
Slow Club
Cold Cave
Hurts
Japandroids
Real Estate
Timbre Timbre
Darwin Deez
Best Coast
The Cheek
Wild Palms
The Ruby Suns

We also have our own stage this year. We'll let you know who we've got lined up, we promise. Tickets are priced at a bargain £45 for all three days and can be bought from here.
