Future Islands announce UK tour, new live video
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater June 10th, 2010

Future Islands are all sorts of fun. Fantastic fun. Weird fun. Progressive fun. We've been waiting for them to return our way for quite a while now, on the back of the brilliant 'Tin Man' and the whole of In Evening Air, actually. We won't have to wait a great deal longer any more, which is a relief.

Thankfully they've announced that they'll be gracing us with their weird and overbearing musical presence towards the end of September and beginning of October. These are the provisional dates but more will be announced in due course so keep them peeled...

29/9 - London, CAMP Basement
30/9 - Brighton, Freebutt
1/10 - Manchester, Islington Mill
2/10 - Glasgow, Cry Parrot

There's also another live video of them performing the previously mentioned 'Tin Man'. The original video was up there in terms of goodness, but it maybe doesn't quite capture all of what Future Islands are about, goodness aside.

Watch this new one below. The singer looks exactly like you'd expect him to, huh?
