Caribou, Art Brut, Mount Kimbie + more for Offset 2010
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater August 3rd, 2010

Last year's Offset festival was pretty damn good. This year is looking like it's going to be just as good if not even better, judging by the latest lot of additions to the festival's bill. Pretty mouthwatering all in all, including three bands who have produced fantastic records this year, two British, one Canadian.

You can work out who is who below - as that's where the new acts are!

Caribou
Art Brut
Pulled Apart By Horses
Mount Kimbie
Connan Mockasin
Esben And The Witch
Banjo Or Freakout
Connan Mockasin
Anna Calvi

Plus monthly musical Loud & Quiet will also be hosting their own stage which will see the scuzzy TEETH, Lovvers, Factory Floor and Golden Grrls all doing their 'thing'. Whatever those things happen to be. Most excellent.

This year's edition of Offset runs on the weekend of 4-5 September at Hainault Forest Country Park, which happens to be both in Essex and London. That's a bonus, honestly. Really, it's a great site and compact enough Camping tickets for the weekend are £65 and non-camping tickets are just a tenner cheaper at £55. Good value all-round I'd say.
