Dananananaykroyd and Dels for Beacons Festival
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater May 31st, 2011

Beacons Festival takes place in(ish) Skipton and may be something like the best thing to happen to the place in the last 100 or so years. Especially since they've just announced Dananananaykroyd and Dels - as well as a bunch of others - to play, which runs from 12-14 August at Heslaker Farm in the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely.

Other newly-announced acts playing the festival are: Jamie Woon, Moiunt Kimbie, Hudson Mohawke, Lone, Optimo, Driver Drive Faster, Serious Sam Barrett, Gentelemens Pistols who join a selection of other great acts including Jamie XX, Factory Floor, The Phantom Band, Polar Bear, Willy Mason, Twilight Sad, Anika, The Apples, Ghostpoet, Toddla T, Mr Scruff, Wolf People, Andy Votel, Dutch Uncles, Ramadanman, Mazes, Pariah, Demdike Stare, Star Slinger, Ducktails, Emmy The Great, I Like Trains, Islet, Napoleon IIIrd, Spectrals AND MANY MORE!

Full information about the festival can be found on the official website. Tickets are priced at £69.50 and, of course, you can buy them from that above link. Sounds like a hoot. NB: There is a Garden Shed stage. Just so you know.
