Following a bunch of great singles and a couple of EPs (Wimmy and Celebrate This Place) which were more than half-decent, Islet have now announced the release of their first full-length record. It is to be released on January 23 2012 through Shape/Turnstile and is called Illuminated People.

It was, we are told, mostly recorded on a Worcestershire farm and was the first time the band worked with an external producer, fact fans. We can also now hear a track from Illuminated People, which is 'This Fortune'. It can be downloaded directly from here or streamed below.
