The Bluetones: Touring & Recording
oappleby by Ollie Appleby August 2nd, 2002
The Bluetones continue their summer of live performances with two warm-up dates for their appearance at this years V2002 festival then head straight into the studio.

The band will be making appearances this month at the Northampton Sound Haus on the 15th followed by a show at Edinburgh Corn Exchange on the 16th. They will also make a one off live appearance at the opening night of new Stoke venue The Void on September 30th.

The Bluetones have been busy writing and demoing new tracks following the chart success of 'After Hours' last March and their Singles album in April. They're set to enter Razor Studios in Wandsworth to record three as yet un-named new songs on the 20th August. More details (and even release dates) will be announced shortly.

The full list of Bluetones summer dates are as follows

August

15th - Northampton Sound Haus
16th - Edinburgh Corn Exchange
17th-18th - V2002

September

30th - Stoke The Void (Opening Night)
