Mini attack?
msainsbury by Martin Sainsbury February 27th, 2003
After the recent high profile arrests of Matthew Kelly and Pete Townshend, shock reports in this morning’s Metro newspaper claim that Massive Attack member Robert Del Naja, aka 3D, is the latest entertainer to be questioned in connection with the Operation Ore investigation into internet child pornography.

Released on bail, Del Naja is quoted as saying:

“I have never looked at child porn in my life. I would ask everyone not to judge me prematurely. I have total faith in the justice system”. Somewhat less surprisingly, police also seized a number of drugs thought to be ecstasy from the musician and sometime graffiti artist’s Bristol home.

The arrest, the result of an anonymous tip-off, follows the success of Massive Attack’s recent chart-topping album, 100th Window. The record takes its name from a cult work by Charles Jennings and Lori Fena – ironically, a warning about how hi-tech information can leave you open to exploitation from intruders.
