Bury St. Edmunds Peel Session special
oappleby by Ollie Appleby March 4th, 2003
Both the Dawn Parade *and* The Exiles are heading to the BBC's Maida Vale studios on March 5th for a joint Bury St. Edmunds Peel session, but that's just the start of it..

Tommorow, March the 5th sees The Exiles join up with The Dawn Parade's 2nd Peel Session from Maida Vale, broadcast to the nation live on Radio 1, 97-99FM between 10pm and 12am. Don't forget that it's also available on channel 851 of Sky Digital and via webcast. Hit the BBC John Peel site for more info and links to live audio streams.

This comes after a big start to the year for The Dawn Parade, with Rolling Stone naming them their single of the year band, and the release of their Caffeine Row single in January, As The Dawn Parade say: "As much as anything, it’ll just be fantastic to thank John for everything he’s done for us in the last twelve months. Still can’t believe they gave that Greatest Britain shit to Churchill when there’s a man among us who still plays Half Man Half Biscuit records on the taxpayer’s buck."

Not ones to stand idly by, The Exiles have a few dates around their home town of Bury St. Edmunds over the next 4 weeks:

March
12th - Cambridge Band Competition Heat 2 Cambridge Junction.

April
3rd - Bury St. Edmunds The Priors' Inn (with Five Mile High)
7th - Norwich Arts Centre (with The Bandits & Donderevo)
10th - Cambridge Portland Arms
