Homelands 2003 Now Boarding
smckeating by Scott McKeating March 11th, 2003

Sick of the diet-MC5 offerings of most festivals? Want to rock, but you're sick of guitars and egos?

Homelands 2003. Nine arenas, 60 DJs, live dance acts and 35,000 sweaty, bog eyed, water supping, up-for-it 24 hr party people.

Don’t expect any kip on/at the following:

Saturday 24th May
1pm - 6am
The Bowl
Matterley Estate
Near Winchester
Hampshire
England

Headlined by the massively underrated Groove Armada, The Streets and The Chemical Brothers (only doing a DJ set though…why?). The line up looks solid, a good blend of mainstream and underground DJs, but at the moment lacks a definitive ‘I Must See’ act.

So far…

Jeff Mills * Sasha * Roger Sanchez * Pete Tong * John Digweed * Dave Clarke 2ManyDJs (Soulwax) * Judge Jules * Seb Fontaine * Fergie * Dave Pearce * Timo Maas * Derrick Carter * Grandmaster Flash * Audio Bullys (Live) * Steve Lawler * Dexter * Lottie * Danny Howells * Cassius * Unklesounds * Cajmere Rooty DJs (Tayo & Frank Tope) * Erol Alkan * Jon Carter * Mint Royale (Live) * Slam DJs * Plump DJs * Rui Da Silva * Umek * Tyrant (Craig Richards and Lee Burridge) * James Zabiela * Hernan Cattaneo * Jacques Lu Cont * Ralph Lawson * Justin Robertson * Paul Woolford * DJ Food * Ali B * Pedro Winter * Christian Smith *

Plus more acts & DJs to be confirmed

Pick up your tickets for £49 from 24 Hour Credit Card Hotline: 020 7344 0044 or you can get them from the usual Ticketmaster agents (but beware the booking fee).
