Therapy? go mental
misterben by Mr Ben May 12th, 2003
Before they embark on a European tour, Irish rockers Therapy? announce plans for an exciting DVD release.

The project will include rare promo videos, and "some live performances from the past 13 years plus plenty of 'private' footage of the band on and off stage." But the main feature of the DVD will be a complete recording of their upcoming show at Mandela Hall in Belfast, which takes place on 6th June. For other tour dates, click here.

The band is also asking for anyone with exciting footage (from TV, bootlegs etc. - not including promos or MTV footage) to send it to: Therapy?, PO Box 28, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland. Anyone who submits footage will have their name printed on the release.

The news is announced following the release on May 5th of the band's 9th album, High Anxiety, hailed by many fans as a return to the style of the band's classic Troublegum era. Despite great reviews for the album and a comprehensive upcoming tour, frontman Andy Cairns recently announced that "As you may have noticed we are not on any of the UK or Irish festival bills this year. We weren't asked and we're fucking pissed off". He urges fans to let the UK festival organisers know that they're not impressed: "We'll come on, rock like bastards, you lot will rock like bastards and go crazy and we'll blow the whole place apart as well as shoving shit down their ignorant throats. I'm proud of this band and i'm very, very proud of our fans."
