Busted's 'Year 3000', clearly the best record in the history of ever to feature a neighbour with a time machine, was beaten into second spot by Westlife's slaughtering of the Manilow 'classic' 'Mandy'.
Westlife were heard to say something dumb like, "We're really happy... this is great... the fans voted... we're so happy." Charlie out of Busted's eyebrows are apparently distraught and seeking counselling.
And the moral of the story is...? Twits in nice clothes will always beat kids in baggy pants to all the best stuff. That's why your dad always tells you to pull your trousers up, you know.
