the first great record of 2010 and with a bonus 6 track remix cd featuring mixes from bodysnatcha, of montreal, mathes, phaseone, toadally krossed out and wallpaper. the band is a collective of los angeles musicians, with members from foreign born, we are scientists, glasser and the fall, and they have been wowing angelenos with high-energy and mesmerizing performances all over town. they play a blend of african pop, krautrock, and a bit of 80s dance pop sprinkled in. the songs are sung in a mixture of hebrew and english. if that doesn't get your attention, we don't know what will. the sheer exuberance and spirit of the music makes you instantly fall in love with this album.
