rough trade exclusive with a 3 track bonus cd featuring two demos and totally new track 'das distance'. pvt return with not only a new name but an even newer sound, their post rock meets electronica now has added vocals, the difference is astonishing, the sound dark, heavy and brooding it's like grizzly bear meets labyrinth era bowie battling with the rockier elemnets of radiohead. this is a dark and heavy ride - almost creepy at times - a heady combination of vocal experimentation, swirling keyboard arpeggios and pounding drums, all topped by the band's adeptness for emotive harmony and clear melodic punch.
