ou est le swimming pool release their debut album despite the death of singer charles haddon a few weeks ago. previous reports said the album would be entitled 'christ died for our synths' but it's now released as 'the golden year'. ou est le swimming pool were a shiny 80's inspired (cyndi lauper, kraftwerk and run dmc) electro pop outfit hailing from north london. their superb debut album is full of 12 infectious slices of electro-pop with a pet shop boys influenced vocals.
