debut introduction from an intensely loud and unorthodox high-energy trio from glasgow. andy and pete began playing as a duo in 2008 on many diverse bills and strange locations (skate ramps, vans, fashion stores and bar tops), aided by a 50ft guitar lead and a minimal drum kit. joined in 2010 by allan stewart of idlewild and desalvo, the band has gained a 'fuller' sound,
combining the riffs of black sabbath, the frenzied energy of lightning bolt and the attitude of mc5. after releasing two eps on diy labels, the band recorded a full album of material in glasgow's diving bell lounge studio with marcus mackay (frightened rabbit / reindeer section), mixed by iain cook of aereogramme / the unwinding hours.
