The bright and polished New York indie-pop duo Cults gave us a fantastic self-titled debut a couple of years ago, and now follow it up with a second album called 'Static'. This time around, Shane Stoneback, the man who produced that debut album, shares production duties with Ben Allen, who most famously helmed Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion. The album is a glorious fireball of Effortlessly glamourous indie rock with a pop edge. If you love Saint Etienne or Spector produced 60's girl groups - you'll love this.
