The debut solo album from Doves' Jimi Goodwin. There are obvious similarities to Doves - his distinctive voice, for starters - but with nods to pre Doves outfit Sub Sub and the playful mid-song switch of lead single 'Oh! Whiskey', 'Odludek' sounds like a man following his instincts to make his ideal record. Bouncing joyfully from genre to genre, 'Odludek' has all the thrill and excitement of an artist's debut record whilst also displaying the wealth of experience of someone who has spent the last two decades making inspirational music.
