The sound across Starboy - the Weeknd's follow-up to last year's Grammy-winning Beauty Behind the Madness - is still instantly identifiable: the haunted falsetto, the Michael Jackson - indebted disco funk, the moody, Hi-gloss R&B. The standout cuts are the Daft Punk boosted title track, the finger snapping funk of Love to Lay and pimp roller Party Monster.
