The Damned release their Tony Visconti-produced album Evil Spirits – their first new LP in 10 years. It follows So, Who’s Paranoid, which came out in 2008. The results are terrific, harking back to The Black Album and Strawberries, with lots of Phantasmagoria-like gothic pop and '60s-via'80s garage a la Naz Nomad.
