The Tindersticks first release on new label Beggars Banquet is a cover of what I am told is ‘the classic Four Tops song “What is a man.”' Recorded for the theme tune of new BBC Drama “The Sins.” It forces the Tindersticks into their weakest position. Optimistic and (yuck) happy. Well this isn’t exactly S Club 7»
